Q: "I lost something! Where can I report/find it?"
A: We have a lost and found bin for unclaimed items. Please ask a bartender with a description of the lost item or email us at info@velumfermentation.com.
Q: "Do you serve food?"
A: We have a resident food truck partner, Cold Friends Kitchen, that serves delicious bites to eat. Please see their website for their full menu offerings: www.coldfriends.com
Q: "Can I bring outside food?"
A: Yes! Outside food is welcome.
Q: "Are you kid friendly? Is there a cut off time for kids?"
A: Yes we are kid friendly! There is no cut off time for kiddos but we require them to be always supervised by an adult over 25 years old. This includes escorting them to the restroom.
Q: "Can I bring my dog inside?"
A: Yes, we are dog friendly. We ask that your furry friend be on a leash at all times. Please don’t forget to pick up after your pet!
Q: "What’s the parking situation?"
A: Our parking lot on Jane St. holds about 20 spaces. Additional street parking is available on neighboring streets. Please let us know if more event parking is needed for additional options!
Q: "Can I bring non-alcoholic options for adults and kids?"
A: Yes! Non-alcoholic drinks are allowed. Our taproom also offers NA options and filtered water. If you bring in water bottles, please do not throw away half full bottles, place those in the glassware tubs so we can dispose of them properly.
Q: "Do you have an ADA entrance?"
A: Yes! The ADA entrance is at 2141 Mary Street; our shared entrance with Ascend Climbing gym. There is a ramp that leads down to the main space and the rest of Velum.
Q: "Do you have chairs for my elderly family members?"
A: Yes! We have a few options of padded chairs with and without arms for ease of use.
Q: "Do you provide cups, plates, utensils and napkins?"
A: We have water cups available. We do not have plates, utensils or napkins; you will have to bring them in.
Q: "Do you accept tap-to-pay?"
A: Yes we do! However if you would like to keep a tab open we will need a physical card to do so.
Q: "Do you take cash?"
A: Yes we accept card, cash and Apple Pay!
Q: "Can I buy a gift card?"
A: Yes we only issue e-cards at the moment. Once purchased, the E-cards can be sent either as a text or email of your choosing.
Q: "There’s some cool art on the walls, can I display my art?"
A: We are always looking for local artists to feature in our big space! Please send us an email with a sample of your work to info@velumfermentation.com.
Q: "I really like a piece of artwork displayed, how can I purchase it?"
A: Every exhibit comes with QR code or contact information for the artist, please contact them directly for more information about purchasing. Ask a bartender if you’re having trouble locating the artist’s info on the walls.

Q: "How do I reserve a Pickleball Court?"
A: You will need to make an account on the Court Reserve App, and join Velum Fermentation. You will be able to see available dates and courts and make reservations.
Q: "What is the refund policy on court reservation cancellations? How long does it take to get a refund on Court Reserve?"
A: You must cancel your court reservations at least 24 hours in advance to get a refund. We process refunds on Tuesdays each week.
Q: "Does the arcade take quarters or tokens?"
A: The arcade runs on tokens. Token machines are available that take small bills and credit cards. An ATM machine is also available on the premises.
Q: "Can I watch something on the big TV?"
A: Sure so long as it’s family friendly! Because of the loud environment, we keep to muted volume and subtitles. Our channels and streaming services are limited but let us know what you’re looking for!
Q: "Do you have pool tables? How can I play?"
A: We have two billiard tables near the arcade. To play, it’s $10 that is paid with card or cash in the taproom. Bartender will provide cue sticks, chalk and a set of billiard balls. Any damage to the table or accessories will be $100 to cover repair costs.
